Bộ Tài chính cho biết, năm 2023 sẽ thực hiện nhiều giải pháp để đạt mục tiêu phát triển toàn diện thị trường bảo hiểm an toàn, bền vững đáp ứng nhu cầu bảo hiểm đa dạng của các tổ chức, cá nhân, bảo đảm an sinh xã hội.

Theo đó, đối với phát triển thị trường và nâng cao chất lượng dịch vụ bảo hiểm, Bộ Tài chính cho biết, dự kiến tốc độ tăng trưởng bình quân về tổng tài sản, tổng số tiền đầu tư, tổng doanh thu tăng khoảng 15% trong năm 2023.

Bên cạnh đó, Bộ thực hiện cấp phép cho các chủ đầu tư đủ điều kiện để tham gia thị trường; tiếp tục thực hiện quản lý, giám sát thị trường theo phương thức giám sát từ xa và kiểm tra tại chỗ; đồng thời xây dựng, hoàn thiện hệ thống công nghệ thông tin phục vụ cho quản lý, giám sát thị trường; thực hiện thanh tra, kiểm tra doanh nghiệp theo kế hoạch được phê duyệt.

Hiện thị trường bảo hiểm có 79 doanh nghiệp kinh doanh bảo hiểm; trong đó có 31 doanh nghiệp bảo hiểm phi nhân thọ, 1 chi nhánh doanh nghiệp bảo hiểm phi nhân thọ nước ngoài; 19 doanh nghiệp bảo hiểm nhân thọ, 2 doanh nghiệp tái bảo hiểm, 26 doanh nghiệp môi giới bảo hiểm.

Năm 2022, tổng tài sản của các doanh nghiệp bảo hiểm ước đạt 811.312 tỷ đồng, tăng 14,51% so với năm 2021; tổng nguồn vốn chủ sở hữu ước đạt 162.814 tỷ đồng, tăng 3,83% so với năm 2021. Tổng doanh thu phí bảo hiểm ước đạt 251.306 tỷ đồng, tăng 15,09% so với năm 2021.

Bộ Tài chính cho biết, năm 2022, việc hoàn thiện thể chế tiếp tục được tập trung hoàn thiện để từng bước tạo hành lang pháp lý thuận lợi cho sự phát triển lành mạnh và bền vững của thị trường bảo hiểm, đáp ứng các cam kết song phương, đa phương về hội nhập quốc tế.

Bên cạnh đó, thanh tra, kiểm tra đối với các doanh nghiệp được thực hiện theo đúng trình tự, thủ tục từ việc xây dựng kế hoạch thanh tra, kiểm tra đến tổ chức triển khai các đoàn thanh tra, kiểm tra. Theo Bộ Tài chính các hoạt động quản lý, giám sát được tăng cường và chuẩn hóa theo các chuẩn mực quản lý, giám sát do Hiệp hội các nhà quản lý bảo hiểm quốc tế ban hành.
