Vào lúc 10:21 ET (15:21 GMT), Dow Jones giảm 21 điểm hay 0,1%, trong khi S&P 500 giảm 0,3% và NASDAQ Composite đã giảm 0,2%.

Các ngân hàng lớn đã bắt đầu mùa thu nhập, với hai công ty lớn nhất vượt kỳ vọng. JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM) ghi nhận hoạt động ngân hàng đầu tư yếu hơn, với doanh thu từ mảng này giảm 57% so với một năm trước. Giám đốc điều hành Jamie Dimon nói rằng trong khi nền kinh tế "hiện vẫn mạnh", ông nhìn thấy những thách thức phía trước.
